Dr Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai is an award-winning writer in both Vietnamese and English. The Mountains Sing is her first novel in English and is the winner of the Blogger’s Book Prize 2021. Quế Mai has a PhD in Creative Writing from Lancaster University and was recently selected as one of 20 inspiring women of 2021 by Forbes Vietnam.
