Since our ground-breaking "State of the Nation’s Adult Reading":https://readingagency.org.uk/adult-reading-research-report-2024 attitudes series of reports last year, there has been a renewed interest in better understanding adult reading habits in the UK. A recent YouGov poll has revealed 40% of Britons have not read or listened to a single book, while 37% report reading most days. Our research and evaluation team have written a report that dives deeper in to who is reading, what is being read and how it is being read. We hope these consumer insights will help to share your marketing plans for adult readers who may not be reached by traditional marketing and what and how they like to read.
