*DK are over the moon that _The Night the Moon Went Missing_ has been selected as the Children’s Indie Book of the Month for November and we want to celebrate this with libraries and schools across the UK.*

Meet Moon and a little girl, Lucy, in this enchanting picture book that teaches young children about the importance of the Moon.

With colourful illustrations by the super-talented Brendan Kearney, _The Night the Moon Went Missing_ will inspire and captivate young readers.  Its touching and uplifting message highlights how valuable everyone is and how much we mean to the people around us. The story also reveals why the Moon is so important to us all. It is the perfect bedtime story and an essential addition to every child's bookshelf.

To mark publication, Brendan has created this magical animation of how he draws Moon and DK have some POS and digital activities to help create a lovely display. We would love children to share their drawings of the Moon on Instagram tagging DKBooks, readingagency and BrendanDraws.  We will repost our favourites.
