Does your library have opportunities for young people to volunteer to support the Summer Reading Challenge? The Reading Agency is an Approved Activity Provider for the volunteering section of the Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award. This means libraries can advertise their Summer Reading Challenge 2023 volunteering opportunities on the DofE Award website, enabling young people to find and access these opportunities, and in turn support Ready, Set, Read! Below, you can download a document containing instructions and tips for adding your volunteering opportunities to the official DofE Opportunity Finder. This download also contains a copy of the DofE Approved Activity Provider logo, which you can use when promoting your Summer Reading Challenge 2023 volunteering opportunities to DofE participants. *This is a locked resource for library authorities participating in the Summer Reading Challenge 2023. Libraries should contact their local Summer Reading Challenge coordinator(s) for access.*
