As part of the Teachers’ Reading Challenge 2023, our partners at the Open University have put together this list of books which celebrate the diversity of families. Because not all families look like those in traditional, well-loved books: they might be bigger, blended, complicated or colourful. There are some beautiful titles here, from the celebratory to the poignant, to help children deal with loss or change; to help them see the world in new ways.
