Reading Sparks: Simple Machines

In this activity, children will make a simple machine (a lever) and explore how it can be used to make it easier to lift objects.
Recommended Book: Curious Pearl Tinkers with Simple Machines, by Eric Braun.
Resources: A ruler, a pencil (triangular if possible!) and some wooden blocks.
